Default Does the New Testament accurately represent the originals?

Given that we do not have the "originals" of any NT manuscript, how can we really know?

The canonical versions may be very much like the originals, entirely different from the originals or anywhere in between.

Some textual critics, notably Ehrman, make a case that our versions are at least somewhat different from the very oldest extant manuscripts often in theologically important ways.
