Default The law written

If I remember my Bible right didn't Moses command that the Jews write selections from the law above and on the sides of their doors?

I do not have my concordance with me and can't remember for sure.

However, if my memory serves me right do archeologists ever find these laws written on the ruins of door jams and such when excavating old houses?

Default know thyself

Where did we find the phrase know thyself if not over the door at Pythagoraean and/or Platonic philosophers' meeting houses and/or academies? How has the goods on this?

Best wishes,

Pete
