Default Bart Ehrman in New Orleans, Feb. 25-26

Bart Ehrman will be at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to have a dialogue ("not exactly a debate") with Craig Evans, February 25-26 (Friday night and Saturday morning and afternoon). I plan on being there on Friday night just to meet Bart Ehrman (and to waste money on Bourbon Street). The topic will be, "Are the New Testament Gospels historically reliable sources regarding Jesus of Nazareth?" with more topics and more speakers on Saturday. There is a registration fee ranging from $10 to $25.

I'd come, but last time I visited New Orleans ("N'Orlens" I think is how they pronounced it) it was hit by Katrina the next week.

Everything I saw there (all throughout city), in the delta (Houma, Cocodrie), along the coast through Bay St Louis, Pass Christian, Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, ended up under water and smashed beyond recognition while I was glued to the TV.

Maybe, for their sake, I shouldn't come. :constern01:

Are the four gospels even consistent, with one another?

I know there is one guy around here who lives in Louisiana, but I forget who. I would like to make sure he knows about this. But, I won't be sticking around this forum anymore until I get a break from grad school again.
