The Ebionite "Gospel of the Hebrews" was purported to depict Jesus as a very holy man, but nothing more. It is now lost, but was referred to by...i seem to recal Origen (going from memory so probably wrong on that point). Google points to tons of information on this, including at least one well supported wiki.

Radical ideas are not dismissed simply because they're radical. To sumarily dismiss them, they also have to be unsupported by anything of substance.

What assertions does jesusneverexisted make that are unsupported?
