Default A question to Christians.

We are in the 21st century, science has explained most of the laws of physics. Astronomy has taken us right back to a fraction of a second after the Big bang. We now know how the universe evolved to it's present state. And we know how life began and evolved, thanks to people like Charles Darwin. What I would ask of Christians is, with all this evidence in front of you. And not a shred of evidence of any god needed to accomplish all this.
Why do you believe in God? And why?

Yes, we know how in-organic matter became organic and started replicating itself.

Darwin ignored the possibility that the Intelligent Desing exists and is maintained inside the species. Kind of dumb of of Darwin to think that accidents can explain accidents, isn't it?

Replicating itself excludes evolution.

As far as I know, the study of abiogenesis (sp?), is still a work in progress with no definite conclusions yet put forward. There is, to date and to the best of my knowledge, no current Theory of Abiogenesis...

of course, that is completely unlike the case for the Theory of Evolution, (which takes over once life has actually started...)...

Well that is a given because the eight ball must exist before you can be behind it.
