More necessary than that, let's find any original source texts attributed to one second-century Marcion and Marcionites beyond that so-called inscription in the entire ancient world. It's utterly ludicrous to base a whole reconstructed history based on the claims of the Church spokesmen especially with the anomalies, and I am sure many people realize that.
