Genesis 3:16. To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply
Your pain in childbirth,
In pain you will bring forth children
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD:
[and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward
Is this a reward as in "just desserts" or should a woman give thanks for the pain of childbirth ? :huh:

Having children is seen as a very good thing

The pains of childbirth are seen as a bad thing and attributed to the fall.
