Pin camera ready to roll on Ark of Covenant discovery

by Judi McLeod, Canada Free Press.

Toronto-- Mark August 14, 2005 on your calendar as potentially momentous. It’s one day before Ariel Sharon’s planned removal of 8,000 settlers from the Gaza strip, a dramatic event no matter the outcome.

Providing even more drama of a coincidental kind is Dr. Vendyl Jones. With the kind of credentials that make him one of the world’s most renowned experts on Qumran and the Land of Israel, Jones last month announced on Israel National Radio that he hopes to reveal the long-hidden site of the Ark of the Covenant "by August 14."
But be careful:

fools! don't they know that the ethiopians have it? (they won't show it to anyone, though) :rolling:

As I keep pointing out to people: the bible says that the ark is a box made out of WOOD. The idea that a wooden box "missing since the temple was looted by troops of Nebucanezzar" (that is around 600 BC) would have survived so long is ludicrous. It would have had its gold stripped off by the looting soldiers, then used for kindling. Nuff said.

Who's the fool here? Doesn't matter what the Ark is made of, God would have preserved it! Fer cryin' out loud, don't forget what happened to the Nazi's when they got a hold of it!

I'll tell you what, I sure won't be watching when they put that camera on the box, and if you know what's good for ya, you won't either!

Vendyl Jones doesn't have that good a ring to it... He should choose a name that is both unusual AND recognizable like... um... Delaware Jones. No! Illinois Jones! No... that's not right either...

Just as a minor quibble. Please to note that this set of insane set of claims concerning the Ark, its existence and location, completely contradicts Ron Wyatt's insane set of claims.

So, who ya gonna trust?

Once again, Doctor Jones, you see that there is nothing you can posess which Ron Wyatt cannot take away...
