Default irrelevance of an AIG cartoon to BC

I presume that the fainting guy is an atheist, or a non-literalist of some kind.

First of all, I have read Genesis about once a year since about 1985 or so and I do not where Cain's wife came from before she is abruptly introduced in Gen 4:17. Notice that the cartoon doesn't reference the verse that is causing the atheist to swoon.

Secondly, so what? Does anyone's disbelief in the Bible really hinge upon Cain's wife?

I think you misunderstood the cartoon. The fainting man is no atheist but presumably a Christian that takes his Bible lierally. Therefore he fianted when the other explained to him that Cain's wife was his sister.
