Default Hell and Judgment Day

From what I've gathered from some of my reading, the concepts of hell and a final judgment (let alone eternal life itself) were adopted by Judaism from Zoroastrianism around the time the Persians conquered Babylon and allowed the exiles to return to their homeland.

I certainly don't see much evidence that those concepts were part of the early Hebrew faith, yet is there solid evidence that they did indeed come from Zoroastrianism? And if so, how do Christian apologists explain this?

Thanks.
