Default A Second Attempt to Get to the Bottom of the Mar Saba Mystery

I have now made contact with Venetia Anastasopoulou, the document examiner who was hired by BAR to examine the Letter to Theodore (= 'Secret Mark') last year and she has agreed to go interview the former librarian at the Jerusalem Patriarchate and who now lives in the remotest part of Greece. Venetia will ask him a series of questions including the location he last saw the document. More importantly I think she will gain information about such topics as what happened to the text, who saw the document, why some were allowed access and others not. In the end I think we will be able to fill some important gaps in our knowledge.

I am looking to ask at least ten people to chip in $100 dollars (or 20 for $50). I figure this will cover airfare, car rental gas and hotel for one night. If anyone would like to chip in let me know.

What do people get for contributing? If you set up a Kickstarter campaign, you could offer premiums, like public radio.

At least offer a few postcards from Greece, or for big donors, a copy of your forthcoming book.

He could give out priority rights to donate to his next kickstarter.
