Excellent point. Especially since in 2 Cor 12 where Paul boasts about someone he knew 14 years ago that went up to heaven and came back to tell all sorts of stories that no living person should know...He often seems like he is citing hearsay and gossip, especially given his defensive "tone" when countering what appears to be people who object or question his boasts.
