Default Kersey Graves

Is the work of Graves, in his book "The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors" totally without value? I hear a lot of criticism of Graves scholarship, and there is even a disclaimer on this site about his work.

All this is not to say Graves didn't have some things right. But you will never be able to tell what he has right from what he has wrong without totally redoing all his research and beyond, which makes him utterly useless to historians as a source.
I think this says it all, from a professional historian's point of view.

Acharya S disagrees and has written a new foreward to a new edition. (See her review at the Amazon site.

Graves's seminal work has been widely assailed over the past century, yet it holds enough germane information concerning the world that is remains a classic, despite its perceived and real flaws.

Thanks for the reply.

p.s. Someone told me last night to look to Graves for the questions, not the answers.
