Default Beasts of the Bible

What would TV producers do without the Bible?

Beasts of the Bible: Biblical myth-busting meets investigative archaeology in state-of-the-art documentary special, premiering March 31
Quote:
The serpent that seduced Eve. The whale that swallowed Jonah. The snake that triggered the Exodus and the four-headed, multi-winged angel that appeared to the prophet Ezekiel.

The Bible is filled with such strange and fascinating creatures. But did they ever really exist, outside the realm of myth? An original new Canadian documentary holds the answer.

Beasts of the Bible, the latest offering from Toronto-based Associated Producers Ltd. (The Naked Archaeologist, The Exodus Decoded) uses envelope-pushing 3D CGI techniques to bring the Bible's miraculous creatures to life in an in-depth historical, archaeological and scientific investigation of their existence.

The Executive Producer is Simcha Jacobovici.

This assures that the program will be complete horseshit.

The blurb about this program contains the following, '...the Biblical beasts, revealing what they might have looked like -- and who their present-day descendents might be.'

Does this mean that those who claim evolution is a lie will not be watching?

I'd just want to see the four-legged insects and the four-legged birds.

What verses are these creatures mentioned in? FYI, at times the beasts which are mentioned are in fact symbolic of nations, such as the ram and goat mentioned in the book of Daniel.

Quote:
In the third year of King Belshazzar's reign, I, Daniel, had a vision, after the one that had already appeared to me. 2 In my vision I saw myself in the citadel of Susa in the province of Elam; in the vision I was beside the Ulai Canal. 3 I looked up, and there before me was a ram with two horns, standing beside the canal, and the horns were long. One of the horns was longer than the other but grew up later. 4 I watched the ram as he charged toward the west and the north and the south. No animal could stand against him, and none could rescue from his power. He did as he pleased and became great.

5 As I was thinking about this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between his eyes came from the west, crossing the whole earth without touching the ground. 6 He came toward the two-horned ram I had seen standing beside the canal and charged at him in great rage. 7 I saw him attack the ram furiously, striking the ram and shattering his two horns. The ram was powerless to stand against him; the goat knocked him to the ground and trampled on him, and none could rescue the ram from his power. 8 The goat became very great, but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.

9 Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the Beautiful Land.

Daniel 8:1-9

Simcha_Jacobovici (not naked and not an archaeologist)

Quote:
... an opinion piece by David Warren, a religious affairs columnist for the Ottawa Citizen who criticized Jacobovici’s work on The Lost Tomb of Christ as a “disgusting little exercise in money-making,” and calling Jacobovici “an appalling, disrespectful man” ... Archaeologists Joe Zias (of Rockefeller University in Jerusalem) said that “Simcha [Jacobovici] has no credibility whatsoever.” ...
