Rev 14:3-4 - "...Of all mankind they are the only ones who have been redeemed. They are the men who have kept themselves pure by not having sexual relations with women; they are virgins..."

JohnClay,

Here's a little help in understanding scripture... Just because someone in the Bible does something doesn't mean it's OKAY to do it.

Quote:
Genesis 29:21-30 - Jacob is tricked by Laban, the father of Rachel and Leah. Jacob asks for Rachel so that he can "go in unto her." But Laban gives him Leah instead, and Jacob "went in unto her [Leah]" by mistake. Jacob was fooled until morning -- apparently he didn't know who he was going in unto. Finally they worked things out and Jacob got to "go in unto" Rachel, too.
And here you're WAY off. He MARRIED Leah. both of them... You conviniently left out this verse:

26 Laban replied, "It is not our custom here to give the younger daughter in marriage before the older one.
27 Finish this daughter's bridal week; then we will give you the younger one also, in return for another seven years of work."

Ok. I just copied and pasted that from the skeptics annotated bible. That guy is off fairly often, but I just assumed that those verses were ok.
