There is no case based on archeology, so how can I satisfy you then?I already mentioned theflawsofyour sacred archeology. We both know its current limitations in many cases, and my questions still remain unanswered.

More hand waving.

Make your case for Exodus. If it is based on your faith I actually do not have a problem with that.

After going through all the usual arguments and attempts at proof the Christian theists tend to just say they have no proof, they know god exists, and they know the bible is true. Fine as personal faith.

Here us skeptics are debating evidence.

At this point, I don't know exactly what you are referring to

Could you be specific about what case is comparable, what evidence would expect to find and where it is lacking?

See my added question again in my last reply to you? And my original questions?

Do you mean "And how much evidence is enough to confirm a million people? What resources are needed for that? "

This doesn't answer my question or clarify yours.

Are you trying to imply that there could be evidence that hasn't been found yet, inspite of intensive explorations?

Unfortunately you have not yet even addressed my original questions and prefer to jump to ask me questions.

Of course.......the intensive investigations are not that intensive. Take a look at what it took to squeeze out a bit of information from Massada. And you ask about Sinai?!

- Archaeological evidence for those Christian communities allegedly existing in the 2nd century according to writings under the name of Justin Martyr?
In each case, you have to consider what evidence would be expected. Small communities or sects might not be expected to leave archaeological evidence if they were not in the habit of building churches or meeting halls.

I have and you have refused to clarify what you mean.

Do you seriously think that search for evidence of the Exodus has not been thorough?

Well, considering it is said that several million people occupied a large area over a period of 40 years some 3000 years ago, I would say that the extent of successful discoveries lies well beyond the resources of the Hebrew University or Oxford. But again, my questions have not been addressed individually by anyone. I am still waiting.

Here they are again in case people have forgotten:
- Archaeological evidence for the existence of the entire Samaritan sect from Nablus to Rome to Egypt?
- Archaeological evidence for the existence of Marcion, Marcionites, Valentinians and the rest of them?
- Archaeological evidence for the existence of all those Karaite communities in Persia and Iraq?

You have a problem with credible history we understand.

All off topic in regards to a mythical literary exodus.
