From what Dave Silverman has said, O'Reilly is quite smart off stage, but plays the right wing uneducated bully for public consumption. He makes a lot of money at it.

I recall he showed up on Steven Colbert's program once, and I read his expression as "how can you be a parody of me when I am the parody?"

So, I'm pretty sure he knows what anachronism means, and also what makes the tides go in and out.

It is mind boggling that Bill O'Reilly uses the Bible as a source of history for Jesus when it clearly states that the Jesus character was the Logos, God Creator and born of a Ghost.
