Roll out of bed early to either:

- make a batch of beer (if I mash out by 8:00 I can be cleaned up by noon)
- go canoeing on the river, or
- go skiing on the river.

In springtime I try to get some dishes done, but it doesn't usually happen.

I work a twelve hour shift on Saturdays, so I sleep until about 3 PM on Sundays.

Up at 6:30am and off to work for me on Sundays. I take a certain pride in working the Sabbath.

A combination of three, although maybe not all simultaneously: sex, then reading newspapers while drinking coffee, then surfing the Internet.

Doing most of the items on the list on various Sundays except watching church on TV, why bother.

One of my favorite things is getting up early and go fly my airplane for an hour or two. The air is calmer and not so hazy in the mornings and it is an absolute blast to do.

For those who haven't tried it, go to the nearest little airport and spend a few bucks for a ride. See the world from a different perspective.

Then I go home, wake the wife and fcuk her brains out, have a cup of coffee, read the paper and then go to work!

I spend mine angrily getting dressed amidst the hustle and bustle of a reluctant family, thinking that I am a fool and I should be sleeping in as I had just stayed up till three the night before watching SNL and assorted DVD's. I get to hear the joys of children fighting like cats and dogs and trying to kill eachother while I take a shower. I get to shower in paranoia hoping that my kids don't run in complaining and then laughing at my hysterical fit that they have walked in on me naked. I swear, this is nearly a Sunday morning ritual.

Sometimes I sleep late, sometimes I go to bed early and then get up early to go meditate at a Buddhist temple. After meditation there is a lecture for the English language students. This is a Mahayana temple so most of the people speak Chinese or Taiwanese.

Talking Damn church jobs!

I find it mildly amusing that 3 people, including myself, have indicated that they attend church on Sunday morning. I wonder who the other two are and why?

As for me, I'm currently a substitute organist for a local Methodist church, so I'm there bright and early every Sunday morning until they can find a replacement. After that, it's back to sleepin' in!!

Regards,

Bill Snedden

Fleamarket!

I swear we have the best fleamarkets in Jo'burg.
You can buy almost anything, from Aconite for poisoning yourself with on the pretext that you're a pagan, to beautifully polished gemstones, spare parts for the car, and the delicacies of a multitude of cultures!

Of course I do most of the other things on the list as well...duh except for the church bit.
