Bush thinks that US' military action is legal under which existing UN resolution:

1) 678?

2) 687?

3) 1441?

I would like to compare the evidence he published so far, with the UN resolution in question.

What about resolution 221 (at least, that's what i think it is)? You know, the one that's telling Israel to bugger out of Palestinina lands?

Wait--we aren't enforcing that one, are we. Never mind.

I read that that one is UN Resolution 242, from approximately 30 years ago.

242 is being repeatedly broken by Israel, with help by the US money from taxes.

Actually it's 242, which someone referred to. The UN has actually revamped their website recently to see all of their resolutions to date, so you don't need to go searching as hard as before.

All UN resolutions to date are here

I can't believe the world has come to this.

I can't believe that these fkers are lying in front of the world and no one cares or understands or sees what's going on.

I can't believe that a mass population can't do anything to stop monkeys like Bush and Cheney from doing what they are doing.

It's incredibly frustrating to see how these people are just simply getting away with it.

This war is simply about oil, Bush's agenda, and Israel's agenda. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't know who sounds more like a monkey idiot...Bush senior saying "It's not about oil..it's about morality" right before the Gulf war or his monkey son saying what he said today.

What is wrong with Americans these days? For God's sake people, take back control of your government because it's completely out of control. It's not even close to being for the people by the people. Bush has shown that in a clear and very concise manner.

The American public's opinion means absolutely nothing to your government...nothing at all.

I had a different thing in mind when I listened to Bush's speech...

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill, KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin' up and down yelling, "KILL! KILL!" and he started jumpin' up and down with me, and we was both jumping up and down yelling, "KILL! KILL!" And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me, sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."

Default A Legal as the attack at Oklamoma

IMO this war is no more legal than Timothy McVeigh's attack at Oklahoma accept a lot more innocent children will be killed.

There is one other thing that Timothy McVeigh and G W Bush has very much in common and that is they both despised the UN
Looks like there is a psychopathic killer in the Whitehouse

Saddam has repeatedly ignored the UN resolutions, only for more resolutions to be written, and ignored. the UN are doing nothing about it (Just like they are doing nothing about Israel or North Korea too.. in fact... exactly what is the UN good for? ) and the US, UK, Spain, Australia, etc, etc have finally agreed enough is enough and there will be a regieme change in Iraq, and it will benefit the Iraqi people and it will benefit the international community and it will benefit the US.

Saddam isn't going to co-opperate. That is a fact. Saddam will not stand down as leader of Iraq. That is a fact. Physical, miltary action is the only way possible to put Saddam out of the picture and that is what this war is about.

Oil, personal revenge, middle eastern control, and any other reasons people are claiming Bush has all contribute to the action about to be taken by the US, but they are only a small part of the big reason this is happening.

I don't agree with war. If it was England being attacked and not Iraq, I wouldn't be happy, but if Tony Blair was using torture, chemical weapons and all the other alledged things Saddam has been accused of, I would want Tony removed from power even if it does mean military action. War is never good, but sometimes it is necessary.

I don't agree with the way the build up to this war has come about. I hope the instigators have learnt a lot about international diplomacy from this and when it comes to dealing with other "Axis of Evil" states like North Korea, they will handle things differently. I also hope the UN has learnt better ways to deal with situations where the US or any other power wants to proactively make the world a safer place, rather than waiting for something to happen and then fighting back. Evil people will only prevail if good people fail to act.

If Iraq launched a nuke at a populated area of the USA or Europe today, and it hit and hundreds of thousands of people died instantly, would you're opinions on this war change?
