Default Frankie!

I call my husband 'Frankie' cuz when we got back together he was waaaay deep into Sinatra - had everything, including that 4 CD set. We had "My One And Only Love" sung at our wedding, Frankie-style & at our reception we played nothing but Frankie.

My kids never went through a Barney stage because I expressly forbid anything Barney in the house & wouldn't let them watch the show, either. I'd worked in daycare during Barney's "Elvis Year" and was subjected to mind-numbing amounts of merchandise & paraphernalia, from hair bows to underwear to shoe laces to...you name it.

What my kids (ages 7, 7, 7 and 5) listen to:
Elvis Costello (naturally )
Beatles
Wings
Norah Jones
Barenaked Ladies
XTC
Dixie Chicks

The twins also listen to Led Zeppelin when they're with their dad. (Other than that, he's an XTC, BNL, REM kinda guy)

And now the twins know the Modified Barney Songs *ahem*
la-la-la-laaaa Ok, I'm ready to sing:

I hate you
You hate me
We're a dysfunctional family
And a shot rings out
And Barney hits the floor
No more purple dinosaur!]

one of several variations on the theme

Oh, TV... my kids love America's Funniest Home Videos, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, a whole lot of stuff on Boomerang (Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, etc), and this Disney cartoon called Lloyd In Space, which is actually pretty decent.

"Well who is in Heaven?" they ask
Chris: "Mormon was the correct answer, people. That's right, Mormon. Now if you'll all step this way..."

That's messed up, I remember that one. SouthPark rules!

Full of loathing today, are we?

Barney got run over by a tractor
Best of all, it happened on TV
All the little kiddies are unhappy
But I am just beside myself with glee...

No one has suggested that you were a dead rapper.

Your denials and excuses reek of desperation.
My statement regarding my being "a deceased rap stylist" was a form of satire directed to powers to be at IIDB that have stated I have created this user name so as to partake in the meanderings of the coveted "troll' postion.

Your acusations are nothing more than an exercise of demonstrating the authority of the IIDB Inquisition Counsel.

Jolly good show, mate.

Seems to me the "how did you know he was banned" was a question which demands an answer, and no answer has been forthcoming.
