I wonder if the bomb that is Gigli will cause Jersey Girl to also fail without people giving it a chance.

I haven't seen Gigli, but some things I have heard about it that make it sound awful:

1) Much like another Ben Afflicted movie, Lopez is a lesbian who falls in love with him... but this time it's because he's such a manly man that she gives up girls and realizes the 'error' of her ways.

2) The main source of humor is a character with Tourrete's syndrome.

3) Lopez requests oral sex from Affleck in the film by saying, "Turkey time! Gobble gobble!"

In fact, #3 alone is probably enough to make it the worst movie ever made.
