Another entry in the "Absurd corporate self-censorship of anything that might remotely be taken as critical of Invasion Iraq" files.

In the original version of the movie's poster and print ads, Bynes was pictured wearing a stars and stripes tank top and flashing a peace sign while nestled between two red-coated British guards.

But when the movie premiered in the U.S. last week, Warner execs feared the peace sign would be seen as a political statement during war time, so they doctored the photo. Ads in Canadian theatres still picture the peace sign, but print ads in American newspapers show her with her hand at her side.

Otherwise bland movie review.
