To ammend my original post one thing I was glad I did this year was to tell my Dad on his 80th b'day that he had influenced my life in a postive way (not that I've done everything he expected me too or wanted me to and we disagree on many things) and I learned a lot from him.
That was brought home New Year's Day when my Mom called and told me that my Dad had been admitted to hospital and yesterday underwent surgery for a gangrenous bowel. He'll be okay but it has been an stressful start to the New Year. Xeluan |
