Come tour the Brave New World
Greetings fellow citizens of the Homeland and residents of Homeland-defended territories. Welcome to the Brave New World, a new era in which truth and justice will reign supreme!
I am your Ministry of Truth tour guide, Popemon. My databanks are filled with splendid visions of future events that, if the Homeland continues on its glorious course, have an extraordinary chance of happening. It took longer than we thought (we were shooting for 1984), but the Homeland government has finally reached its full potential! Essential in strengthening the Homeland was the rise to power of George W. Bush, a true hero! Homeland Emperor George I cast out the infidels and scoundrels, and purified America, returning to Godly principles and truly restoring dignity to the presidency. It is treasonous to suggest that anyone other than Bush should have become the Homeland's first emperor because George I was selected by God himself. What kind of wretched infidel would argue with God's decision? Although the events of September 11th were a tragedy, that day was the turning point where the Homeland finally began to realize what could be possile. PNAC, a group that loves the Homeland, had been confined to the lunatic fringe of the foreign policy community. After 9/11, the Patriots of PNAC became national heroes with the Homeland adopting their plans for the world. What a fortunate turn of events for the Homeland! So fortunate that the Ministry of Truth is predicting the following events: Defend the Homeland against Syria: June 2003 Defend the Homeland against Iran: September 2003 Liberation of the rest of the Middle East: Spring and summer 2004 War with North Korea: November 2004 Landslide re-election of Emperor George I: November 2004 Crackdown on domestic terror: Spring 2005. �Criticism of the Homeland harmful to national security and will no longer be tolerated� Emperor George I Deployment of the Freedom 2000 System, in which those loyal to the Homeland agree to be fully monitored. Those who do not submit will be deported. Spring 2005 Homeland enters �Golden Age of Freedom�: Summer 2005. Homeland decides to win the War on Drugs, liberates Latin America and South America: 2008. To demonstrate his commitment to the democratic process, Emperor George I steps down. His brother, Jeb I is elected in the largest landslide in national history. Fall 2008. The Homeland defends itself from the menacing European Union: Spring 2009. By 2010, the Homeland was unstoppable! Isn�t this wonderful to know ahead of time! So now that i'm hauling the Complete works of William Shakespeare with me to some remote location along with every other piece of intersting literature that i own, i plan to start a rebellion that will fail due to the cursed self perpetuation of the system . . . .from now on call me John Winston
