Genesis 32, where Jacob wrestles with God...and WINS! (oh, and God cheated too!)

Of course there's always Judges 1:19 where God can't defeat the valley dwellers, because of their iron chariots...

The most bizarre part is the bit between "In the beginning..." and "The grace of our lord jeebus christ be with you. Amen."

That part's pretty bizarre.

Grumpy when your faith is become a liability to you you will have come a long way. Faith cannot be conceived to exist without doubt and we find that when doubting Thomas was convinced also Peter of faith was left stranded without cloak of faith.

So it is logical after all isn't it?

The sensus confirmed his trail of filthy rags (earned righteousness) which killed them as Isrealites (true righteousness).

Edited to ad that by counting our good deeds they become filthy rags. This is precisely why atheist object to fundy Christianity, and as you see, God doesn't like it either.

Maybe, but it is popular sport in fundy circles. The firsborn of Judaism is the child within in our mythology and to fornicate its birth (premature rebirth) is to kill the child within. It is also called the sin against the HS in the bible. It is like untimely ripping a child from its mothers womb.

Thumbs down

Most bizarre quote outside the Bible: anything by Amos.

Thanks for playing. Good night. Over and out.

But it cost him his femur which is the strongest mucsle in the body to resemble the individual stronghold of our humanity. It's "the tiger in our tank" that must be exhausted so we too can
win in the end without knowing it (sorry I don't know the rest of the story).

Iron chariots is when we have fundamentalist religions and often are in vallys because of it. Many seek help in vallys and vultures gather there to prey on their wounded carcasses. God does not want cowards with iron chariots but hero's with chariots of fire because why would he want heaven to get bogged down with fundy idealogies.

This is where Moses becomes sensored by natural law and set free form Judaic law. Hence his footsteps will be in which he is circumsized by the will of God (Pantheism) instead of religious law. His hiltop experience had revealed to him that laws are needed for the conviction of sin and with the removal of sin also the slavery of the flesh is removed.

Ummm, all of revelations.

[Aside: Amos, do you have a job? In this job of yours do any of your coworkers understand you? Just wondering.]

Amos, the femur is a bone, not a muscle.
