Nightshade...update please. What do you mean he went psycho? Did he ever wake up? Was he on drugs?

My brother and I both tend to sleepwalk when we have fevers. I remember my brother once going to bed with a fever, then 2 hours later walking into the family room, sitting down, picking up the remote and flicking through the channels very fast. Then he started crying and said "there's nothing on!!". Weird

Once I woke up after a feverish night with strep, and my pillow was in the bathtub and my blanket folded on top of the dresser.

I had some sleepwalking episodes when I was younger. And my daughter does it as well. I'll agree that it's scary to watch. I hope your roommate isn't suffering from something serious.

I occasionally have semi-lucid conversations in my sleep and have walked around once or twice (at least while someone was there to witness it).

It's a little aggravating, especially when I actually am awake, but my lady friend doesn't believe me...

As a teenager, my mother for a time refused to wake me up in the morning because she said I was horribly nasty to her when she did. I of course had no idea what she was talking about until I was informed that I do, infact, talk in my sleep.

I think it has something to do with dreaming while in a very shallow sleep. Anytime I can remember that I had a dream, I'm never rested - even if I had slept 9 or 10 hours straight. My hearing is still completely active, because I can respond and say "yes, I am awake" (etc.) when asked. My vision is turned off, because my eyes are usually open during the 'episodes'. It's a little creepy, but we have gotten used to it.

hahaha...I was in a friend of mines room one day, and his roommate was sleepwalking...

"Hey what's up Alex?", I say to him.

"...."

next thing you know, he walks into the closet, closes the door and proceeds to, ah, handle his business.

I never laughed so hard in my life

Talking

About 12 years ago, my then roommate Kurt occassionally walked in his sleep. One late night, while I was just falling asleep, I heard his bedroom door open, then he opened my bedroom door, grabbed my desk chair and started rolling it out of my room. He rolled it into the bathroom, left it there and then went back to bed. While he was rolling it to the bathroom, I said, "What are you doing, Kurt?" and he replied, "Just taking the chair, pal!". In the morning after I woke up, I remembered the episode and wrote it off as a funny dream. Then I went to the bathroom, and there was my chair! We both got a good laugh out of it, and he didn't remember anything about it.

I had a sleepwalking experience once.

I had just returned home from a week long canoe camping trip to Canada.

Back at home I got up in the middle of the night with the need to pee. I made my way to the nearest "tree" and only woke up when the pee spilling off of my wife's closet door hit my toes.

Hello, sorry I couldn't reply to anyone for a while. I was on vacation in Colorado for a week. For an update on my situation, go here.
