Default Beavis and Butthead DVD's

Did anyone order the Beavis and Butthead DVD's from Time Life? I bought the DVD's but was disappointed to find that they cut out B and B's critique's of music videos, which was pretty funny. Anyone have any idea why they cut these out of the episodes?

Because it would have required licensing all of the music they critiqued, making the DVDs prohibitively expensive. Vastly disappointing I know.

IP strikes again.

Don't quote me on this. My guess is it has to do with artist royalty issues. If they were to have the videos, they would probably have to pay the artists some royalty fee. This is also why on the commercials it looks like they block out their T-Shirts, which used to be Metallica and AC/DC. I do admit myself it is a shame they had to get rid of them.
