Currently running a Compaq Presario 1500 laptop.
1.6 Ghz, 256MB ... eh, you can prolly look up the specs for yourself. Fave Games: Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, NWN, D2, MDK2, Secret of Mana, Secret of Mana 2, Chrono Trigger, Earthworm Jim, EWJ 2 - love the humor. Currently Playing: Capcom vs. SNK 2 on the Xbox. Various Apple games on the emulator. I've put away the SNES emulator for now, as CVS2 is taking care of my console needs. |

Im running on an old machine until I can afford a better rig. Im just another dot.com unemployment statistic at the moment.
P3 600E (can o/c safely to 800, but whats the point) 256mb PC-133 sdram Abit BX6 ver 2.0 mobo GForce 2 GTS (32mb ddr) Cheap no-name case from a computer show, 300 watt PS Quantum ~16GB HD (running XP Pro) WD ~16GB HD (dual-boot, running Win98 and 2000) HP CD-RW (Dont remember the speed) Creative SoundBlaster AWE 64 (ISA-Ive had this one since the nineties) Decent Yamaha speakers 17 ViewSonic Monitor Most played current games (limited of course by what I can run): Medieval Total War, Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, Baldurs Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale 1&2, High Heat Baseball 2000 (yeah, 2000, the Dodgers had good pitching that year, at least in the game), and Front Office Football 2000. Most anticipated games: Temple of Elemental Evil and the NWN expansion (hopefully with a better single-player story than the first one shipped with). Im sure Ill have to wait until I can build a new machine to run either of these NWN barely runs on this box. Next box, if I could build it right now: Asus A7N8X mobo Athlon XP 2600 (best price point I can find at the moment) GF4 Ti4200 AGP 8x 512 or 1024mb DDR PC3200 CAS 2.5 ram 2x WD 80GB SE Drives in a RAID 0 config (would need an add-on card) Whatever case looked nice that day with a bad ass power supply Ive priced this system nicely on newegg if only I could get a damn job! |

Tastes like Burning is running an AMD XP 2100+ on an ASUS A7V333 board with 512 megs of pc2700 DDR and an ATI 8500 le video card. I have no clue what kind of sound card i have. For some reason good sound has never done anything for me. The mouse on the other hand is key. I'll never touch a corded mouse or a balled mouse again.
I'm not really into any game right now i just putter around with Simcity 4 and Deltaforce: Blackhawk Down. Nothing out there right now really grabs me ![]() |

Found out my XP machine won't run it, so I run it in WINE under Linux just fine. ![]() |
