...Ugh. I think I know what these pictures might be.

"Here are photographs of the Paluxy River footprints, which show that humans and dinosaurs walked the Earth at the same time. And here's a photograph of the green bones of Malachite Man, a human fossil identical to modern Homo Sapiens but found buried fifty feet down in solid sandstone and with the bone completely replaced by malachite, which proves that geological processes operate many times faster than evolutionists claim".

But the Paluxy "human" prints were hand-carved by George Adams and others, and "Malachite Man" is a Native American only a few ceturies old, buried in FIFTEEN feet of SAND and consisting of normal bone stained green by copper salts. And so it goes...

In other words, the pictures aren't "evidence" without the supporting lies and frauds.

Hey, it's nearly the end of the semester and if you haven't filled out teacher evaluation forms yet I'd suggest making a comment regarding that very issue on that evaluation. I'd make sure to list these questionable topics and mention the insistance that evidence for creationism exists. Yes, yes, your instructor will see these evaluations, after the grades are turned in for the semester. However, more importantly, these evaluations will probably be read by someone else in the anthro department. This will alert the department that this particular instructor is teaching subjects that at the very least take time away from the ciriculum goals of the department if not undermine them.

From what he has told us, I don't see any flaws. If you do, why don't you tell us what you see?
Because that would require him to actually say something clear and understandable. We can't have that. You see, he's got a reputation to uphold...

I do not see much to be gained by creationists and proponents of evolution debating. Remember, creationism is not a scientific or even a religious position. It is a political movement which seeks state support for religious instruction. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

Therefore, creationism does not present evidence; it presents propaganda. In propaganda, the truth of a statement is not important, only its plausibility to its audience.

The first rule of science is honesty. You don't fudge when collecting or analyzing data. You don't claim more than the data can show. And most of science is debate on exactly what conclusions may be deduced from a set of data. Such a blunt approach is no match for the razzmatazz feel good spiel of creationism.

The only reason creationism exists and its only concern is to wedge fudamentalist christianity into the public school curriculum via science instruction. That's it. Period.
