Bush jr. may have been a political lightweight from Texas but his daddy and friends who have been around D.C. for awhile are giving him more direction and advice (and compensating for thier own past oversights and mistakes) than any president has ever had the benefit of.
As they repay donations and favors the list grows bigger. It will be even more interesting to see what Orwellian stuff they come up with in 03-04 now that they control the House, Senate, policy committees, Judicial branch and most of the media. |
