If I recall correctly his father made his address after the bombs had started to fall. I would anticipate the same from sonny boy.

Well, Bush should be about half-way through his speech now (I'm at work)... which means that amphibious troops are quietly securing a couple beach heads near Basra, and airborne troops are landing.

But the main body will come ashore with their FoxNews HelmetCams Wednesday at 8:00 eastern... prime time exclusive and all that.

Didn't he mention that Hussein and his sons could leave the country within 48 hours (by Wednesday, ~8 PM EST)? So I guess in the middle of the night Wednesday/Thursday local time.

That is of course assuming that he keeps his word.

Oh I think it's safe to assume the Shrubster will keep his word when it comes to matters of violence and aggression.

He will keep is word, I would bet on it. I expect Thursday, myself, and as much as war scares the hell out of me (knowing what potential consequences may hold), it's about time it happened.

No. The bombs won't fly as soon as the deadline is up. That will be a time of peak alertness.
