It is a well-known fact on bulletin boards that when someone starts criticising others spelling it generally signifies he has lost the argument.

BTW if anyone was wondering - Kuu is the Finnish Goddess of the Moon and I use it because I love Finnish Mythology.

I was going to register under the name I use elsewhere on the net but I notice that someone here had a very similar name and people might have got us confused.

This isn't a matter of "guts". People are free to use any nickname they want, and it does not reflect any effort to hide -- any more than if you were to introduce yourself to someone as "Dan" meant you were trying to conceal your identity. What matters is provenance, history and consistency. Kuu, Arikay, and gravitybow are better known to me than "Daniel Erickson". If you hang around, we'll get to know you as well, and it wouldn't matter whether you called yourself "Dan", "John Smith", or "Batman".

Now, please, the best attitude for you to take, and one that would make you a much better liked and appreciated poster here, would be to avoid these tangents, and actually discuss subjects you bring up with a little depth. Your opening post here was aggressive -- far too aggressive given the obvious lack of knowledge of evolutionary biology apparent in it. Not knowing something is no sin, but being unwilling to learn is. Relax, lighten up, learn.
