This is this yet one more area where xtianity doesn't make sense. Many denominations believe that if your name isn't in the book of life. You will be cast into hell on judgement day. Who will be doing the judging, Why Jesus. So we need Jesus to save us from Jesus. Isn't that like a woman running form a potential rapist on the street. And then suddenly turning around and asking for him to help her?. |

I know some of us think it`s in bad taste to post private messages, but I see no good reason why this can`t be shared nor do I understand why this was private to begin with.
From a message from FastFalcon in response to the stars falling to Earth in Revelations: "The "stars" John said are actually angels that fell with Satan, when he rebelled. you see, we Christians fight not against flesh, but against these fallen angels, known as demons. We fight them, not with guns and tanks (though I do have such imaginations) but with prayer and asking Jesus for help. " <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" /> |

And you STILL think that God made us?
Don't you think he could have done a better job? |

Remember that crap in Genesis about how women will suffer in childbirth? You know what the penalty for being a woman is in my case?
DEATH. Yep that is right. Certain death in childbirth in ancient times, absolutely without a doubt. I have one child who is now 16. I had to have a C-section surgery. That means I was sliced open from hip to hip to deliver the baby -- over a foot long incision(this is in case any body thinks that childbirth is not dangerous because it's "natural" ...puke...) I knew I would have it before hand. I am a small person (five foot 3) with small bones and narrow hips and could not deliver a normal baby, let alone the HUGE 8 pounder I had. Before the advent of modern antiseptic technique and surgery, including C-sections, one third of women died in child birth. And an awful lot of infants. And that includes ancient times. Now isn't death a pretty serious penalty to pay for the accident of being born a woman and getting pregnant? But then who said Xtianity had any logic to it at all. It doesn't. |

Yep, we sure did screw it up. We've established the fact that we have done wrong. So now can you people come to Christ? Please?
