How do you qualify a president,? what protocal must he follow and adhere to,? I qualify his worth by his success economically, for the country, then the strengh of our armen forces to be solid, its character to be exceptable to foriegn dignateries, a forcful negotiator, and compassionate for its electorate, any man that can qualify for three of the above with an 'A', are an excellent Presedent, like president Clinton were, he are a whore, but that doesn't make him a bad President,!

I think that a good president, should, before he or she makes any decision on a matter, listen to all parties involved, and without being influenced by rhetoric, determine the best course of action, with the ultimate goal of causing the most amount of good for all parties involved. He or she should never ignore anyone's opinion, or manipulate events for his own benefit. He or she should never contribute to (or cause) paranoia, xenophobia and any other irrational outbursts in society. (For example: "The axis of evil") He or she should always, regardless of personal consequences, go through with the best course of action. He or she should always have the people in mind, not just the people within a geograpical region, but the entire human race.
Those are a few of the major points, there are probably more, but I can't think of them at the moment. |

Member yggdrasil, individuals that portray the character you implied are never good Presidents, remeber Carter? a man that reaches the presidency has got to be partially corrupt, honest man don't ever get to be president, kinda like wealth are never attained honestly, Carter fitted your mold, and as a president,he was pahatic,

You state that Carter fitted my requirements, and say that "honest man don't ever get to be president", do you like to contradict yourself? In any case, how was Carter a bad president? He created 8 million jobs by the end of his term. He was able to get all 52 US hostages in Iran home. (It did take him 14 months, though.) He decreased the budget deficit. He negotiated SALT II. Etc. (Took that from whitehouse.gov, I don't know much about American presidents.) It seems to me like he was a fairly successful president. And you don't get a Nobel Peace Prize for nothing. I'd definitely put him among the top three American presidents. (Not that that is such an achievement. (No offence...))
Because most presidents tend to be egotistical manipulative bastards, I don't support republic as a form of government. (Or any system that has one leader at the top, for that matter.) Lastly, I don't really see how someone who is, by your own argument, dishonest and partially corrupt, can be called a good president. |

Member yggdrasill, you have Carter mistaken for Reagon, the only reason the hostegaes were released was because Reagon was coming into the presidency, Carter plummeted the country'a Pride into disgrace, even Mexico stuck its finger up our ass, Clinton left the country with a three trillion adjusted surplus, after deleting a 200, billiob deficit, creating 200 million jobs, pretty good for a whorish president, who cares that a slut, sucked on his willy, he took good care of the country,..Bush as a War-mongering-capatalist, are okey,..

Since I refuse to believe that your country was suffering 2/3 unemployment when Clinton came to power, wouldn't this constitute just a little bit of overkill? ![]() |
