Man. I thought I knew how much power the media had over the masses, but this shows that they do a hella lot more twisting than I originally thought. Its quite scary.....

The second part is downloading right now, 1.4gigs (1363 mbs), so I got awhile before it finishes. I really suggest that you download the videos if you have a fast internet connection or watch it on realplayer if you don't.
I was under the impression that one was in two different mpeg formats... (this is true of the Bush/Teletubbies video) I wonder if the first part is an hour long? Or if it is just the first part it should be about 20 minutes long.

The maker of the film basically intercepted the satellite feeds from the networks before they reach the HQs and gets edited for tv. That means that he caught Pat Robertson, Larry King , George Bush I , Clinton, Gore and others off camera.

One of the more disturbing scenes was after a historian that also was a native american had spoken about the atrocities committed by Colombus and his crew during the first two years. After the segment is over you hear the interviewer and one woman on his crew go:

-what did he say that made any sense - anything ?

-They just, you know, think that he ruined a paradise and had no respect for nature and treated the indians like dog doo and--

-What the hell does he know

Other than this historian there was no other native american that the filmmaker caught on a feed. This was during the celebration of 500 years since Columbus discovered america.

I watched this documentary. Very interesting, and is filled with good examples to keep in mind. I recommend it.
