not quite sure where to put this, so here it is. This lady killed herself, so technically not euthanasia, but the twenty odd people who were by her side at the time may face prosecution simply for being there and not preventing the suicide. interesting to see how it eventuates. Yes, this was the Nancy Crick issue. To me, it seems that the pro-lifers think that the police have nothing better to do, which is obviously false. Why stop someone who is obviously in pain? Who would want to die alone? Laws against suicide force these horror scenarios, and taboos on suicide cause people to commit it impulsively, so no one can help them recover.
