Default Why I am usually right

I am usually right because, in general, I do not have an opinion. My proclivity, however, to state facts by themselves unconnected with "opinion" induces inordinate frustration upon the part of my opponents. "Do you have a point?" they ask, when it is my design only to present the views of others and/or state irrefutable facts: facts which are frequently difficult to acknowledge for those employed in grabbing tenaciously to the prejudices of "opinion".

To the females of these forums: keep this in mind next time you ask if I "have a point".

To the males of these forums: keep this in mind next time you "argue" with me: for arguing is a process which is identical to wishful thinking, and moreover conduces one to making one's opinion look more like ice.

Totalitarianist -

This reads like flame-bait to me. Surely you don't expect people to respond positively to your self-aggrandizing assertions now when they never have before. What do you expect this thread to achieve?

What do you mean? I am trying to inform people. Hopefully, after reading this post wherein I state some important facts, they will discontinue inquiring in response to my posts as to whether there is a "point" thereto; hopefully they will no longer expect me to describe my opinion on absolutely every fact or collection of facts to which I make mention upon the forums of II.

If you state opinion as fact, you will be asked to produce evidence or at least make a clear argument in favor of the validity of your arguments. Nobody but you is likely to pressupose your accuracy.

I do not state opinions as facts. I only state facts as facts. In the original post, name one opinion which I stated as either an opinion or a fact.

And I do not "argue", for arguing is wishful thinking. Arguments begin when the arguer wishes for them to begin; they end when he wishes for them to end. The arguer invariably states the facts which support his argument, and either ignores or is unaware of facts which indicate the contrary.

I only state the facts: I have no argument for anything, no opinion of anything, and that which I state is without a point.

That is demonstrably false. You mentioned in your op that you have presented other people's views in various threads. Off the top of my head I recall at least two of them where you presented those opinions as acknowledged facts. From a great book I read yestreen, wherein you assume Otto Weininger's views on women as facts; and more recently, How to correct the "crime" problem which features a chain of unproven assertions stated as fact in the first 2 paragraphs of the op.

See above for instances of you presenting opinon, your own or other people's, as fact.

This is funny. Yes, T, your opinions are without basis. They are meaningless and no one takes them seriously. Like 7-Up, you are the "unposter". Way to go.

That was not me; that was someone else. I am always changing. I am never the same person in different instances. I only state facts. The person who posted that was someone else.

I was sharing information. I do not have to agree with the information which I share.

Even if I accept your metamorphic claims, which of course I do not, the second thread I linked to was started by you, Totalitarianist.
