I know... so 'against the grain'..

besides REALLY good sex involves handcuffs.. (not rope)

hmmm.... seems when they said "temporary moderator" they meant TEMPORARY! How long did it last?

Seebs, did you ask to no longer be a mod or where to "let go"? How do you rate your experience? Do you feel like it made a difference? Do you feel like a "difference" was needed after seeing the inner workings?

You have been watching me! Where in our bedroom did you hide that little camera and microphone?

No to handcuffs AND ropes - silk scarves.

Well, let's see. I stepped down, but I'm not sure how well it would have gone over not to; I am going to apply to be a mod in a month or so, when things have cooled down some. It was very interesting.

I think there are issues that still need to be addressed, but I also think that there's a lot of stuff that works very well. You would be AMAZED at the amount of work they do you normally don't see - offensive posts which go bamf before anyone sees them, etc.

It's hard to say; I think there are some things that would be very hard to fix, but I think things are improving, and will continue to improve. We'll find out.

D.Scarlatti has been banned. He posted this morning and then the next thing you know, there was a message on the screen saying ""You have been suspended for 30 days because you got three warnings from blindfaith."
He has no idea why he got the warnings and can't even tell if he actually has three warnings, since he cannot log on.

He checked his PM's just moments before the suspension message and there were no new PM's.

It was only a matter of time. He said things that were hard to argue against. He was well informed and spoke up when he felt it necessary. And he had a wonderfully sarcastic wit, which is now against the forum rules (the sarcastic wit, that is). I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.

I don't know specifically; I do think he had a couple of warnings, and he did occasionally make posts in poor taste. He should have gotten an email explaining things...

Seebs, are there "checks and balances" to protect a user from being "targeted" by one mod?
