I am putting an explosive armor-piercing round into the breech right now.
Take cover and standby,

Hey, I try to add a little nothing to balance out Van. I should at least be recognized as being useless too

Well? "Right now" usually doesn't mean a day or two later.

Captain: "Fire the torpedoes!"

Vanderzyden: "Yes, Sir! Right away, Captain!"

....

Captain: "Why havent you fired your torpedoes?"

....

Captain: "Corporal Vanderzyden?"

....

Captain: "I ordered you to fire!"

....

Captain: "hello?"

Captain: "Are you still there, Corporal?"

....

Vanderzyden: "Go back and read the thread, Captain. I fired the torpedoes on page one. If you continue to speak to me like that, I will no longer engage you."

Captiain: "WHAT?"

Vanderzyden: "Henceforth, I would like it to be known that I am ignoring the captain"

Vander, I have to commend you...

Weapons practice would be an excellent way to work off the frustration of having lost face in yet another debate.

Bwa ha ha huh haha huuu huh haha hehhehehehe he he! <wipes tears as his bladder almost lets stuff out>
That was funny.
My apology to the mods for bringing in some humour to this serious thread. What with Pesky Vander ignoring posts with trenchant arguments and plodding foolishly on totally oblivious of his demise.

Why dont we organise a funeral for him?

I will write his epitaph.

Who shall do the autopsy (and this is important)?
Who shall dig his grave? Or shall we just cremate his body?

Whi shall prepare his obituary? Who do we need to notify?

It looks like John Vanderzyden has finally conceded all arguments against him.

Many thanks to all who continued this discussion (the longest yet of any I've started!); real-life commitments have prevented me from attending to it properly.

Be right back. We seem to be experiencing technical difficulties.

Oh, that list is priceless! I missed this the first time around:

Quote:
"Did you know that all bulls are males? How can these bulls mate to have more bulls? It's your funeral evolutionists. Admit evolution is a pathetic fantasy created by scientists because they can't accept God."
- Eternal, Internet Infidels

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[After being told 'they mate with cows, you idiot'] "Then, why don't the bulls that are born have some bull like features and cow spots? If a bull mates with a cow, wouldn't you get a female eventually? Evolution is dead water."
- Eternal, Internet Infidels

(My apologies for the tangent.)
