Ok my fellow infidels I have recently been flamed (I think that is what I should call it). The response below (edited) was posted on another board. Does this constitue a flame or am I just bein oversensative.. which is totally possible...

People like you always amaze me. You completely miss the overriding message, and instead, look for little things to nit-pick. I guess it makes you feel better about yourself.

No, that person's words were rather harsh. Sorry that happened to you. That person should take a break from the computer. Maybe they are having a really bad day or even worse, a really bad period.

Either way its no excuse. Lately I myself have been really cranky. I think my birth control pill is turning me into a nut.

I called Goliath a chimera last night. Somebody schmack meh!!!

Bear, I really wouldn't worry about it.
You get twits here who want to do nothing more than offload their bigotries and bile; I strongly suggest you shrug it off.

The fastest way ever to burn out on SecWeb is to think if you're nice, everyone will be nice back; or to take bile personally, or to try too hard to get on with everyone.

I therefore also strongly suggest you simply start keeping track of people; you follow who's who, and base your judgments and reactions upon that, rather than unconsciously thinking of all people here the same way.

Just my 2 cents.

My attitude is that "Life is a mirror". What you see outside of you is what is going on inside of you - people project. Therefore when someone posts asshole things like that, it tends to say more about them, not about you. So, as Gurdur has said, try not to take things personally.

Ok. I've been real nice. Do I get a big bear hug, too.
