But surely if you had taken the effort to construct a rel-life timeline, you may have construed that the best is yet to come
Real life? None of these characters exists in real life they are all fictional superheroes. All superheroes are fictional. Edgar Rice Burroughs is dead so no more Tarzan. Joe Smith wrote a sequel the God and Son of God series but that was pretty much a flop. (They are selling it door to door now and trying to give it away on late night TV) Superman was split into a bunch of different styles in a marketing fiasco. But the Smallville TV show is kindda fun. Nope, in real life only Harry Potter offers the best is yet to come. Rowling's writing style is really improving with every book she writes. I look forward to her next |

Depends on which gods. Pick up a copy of Dr Miranda Green's Gods of the Celts and you'll find some truly great gods like Manannan and Lug (happy Lugnasad to everyone by the way) Gods with values worth having.
As for this Semitic god character of yours, he is a monster. Children's books about wizards are preferable in morals, and more believable in content to that piece of trash. |

Hmmm, I wonder if Martha Stewart dot com has any recipes for interns that don't need a lot of butter and olive oil? And what are fava beans anyway?

Kill all the white men!!!
I am an atheist because I fucking hate all theists and want to nail their little ass to crosses, planting them in Canada and spilling lemon juice in their eyes while the suffocate crying for their little mommies.
MWUAAUUAAUAAUUAA!!!!!! Just Kidding! I am an atheist simply because I took the time to truly think about it... |

If the OP's hypothesis were about why people choose to {b]consider[/b] being atheists, it would be correct. Many people begin to investigate the possiblity of there being no god(s) when they are pissed enough at sufficient religions to have a very hard look at their basic premise.
Very few come away from this look with capacity for belief intact. They don't have a choice about being atheist then. It would be like trying sex in order to decide whether to remain a virgin. Most religions discourage either experiment. |
