No, as a married man (when married men say "women," they always mean "my wife") I think women find debating a rather sterile thing. They tend not to be as competitive and eager to score points as men. Their conversation is directed at supporting rather than arguing. As a general rule, a meeting of men will be shorter than a meeting of women. All the men will have their say, then there will be a vote. The women will go on discussing until a consensus is reached. I'm not saying one is better than the other, just that that's the way it tends to be, most of the time.
