Though it doesn't say it explicitly, Abraham is considered a father of the people. God isn't just God, God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That's a very lofty position for a mere mortal.
Biblegateway.com is a better resource if you're looking for something specific. You can do book, chapter and verse searches as well as key word searches there. And in various translations.
