OMG, that was the worse movie ever.

I'm wondering where "Toxic Avenger" and "The Microwave Massacres" are.

(oops - just saw trekbette's post about TA being #26)

How about the original Dracula with Bela Lugosi?
Was Plan 9 From Outer Space on the list?

How about that version of "Flash Gordon" made in (I think) 1980?

Wizard of Oz (think Dark Side of the Wizard) and Sound of Music might also be on the list as there are midnight showings and audience participation opportunities with both movies.

I selected Wizard Of Oz simply because of Dark Side of The Wizard.

If you have not heard of this, put on a video (not DVD) of Wizard of Oz, volume on low. Put on the CD "Dark Side of The Moon" by Pink Floyd. When the lion roars the second time before the movie starts, start the CD. They go together in a very creepy way.

My husband and I went to see Dark Side Of The Wizard at a laser light show and I have never been able to look at it the same way since.

As for the Sound of Music, people dress like characters in the movie and go to midnight showings where everyone sings along. Stange byt true.

Does anyone know if there is a chance of them ever, releasing a Darkside of the Wizard DVD. That would be pretty great if it was already synched together and featured comentaries by members of Pink Floyd. I remember a few years back on Turner Classic movies they played Wizard Of Oz and you could listen to DSOTM as an alternate audio track.

My votes go to Bottlerocket ("How much bullets does this thing hold") and Two-Lane Blacktop (James Taylor had a hilarious quote that I can't quite recall). Now Bottlerocket might be debatable, but TLB is a definite cult classic. Scarecrow Video (THE cult video joint here in Seattle) even had a petition a while back to get it released on video. Now it's even available on DVD, BTW.

Biodome is a cult classic for me, but I'm insane anyway. Dead Alive should also be on the list. And Mad Max.
