seebs,

Sorry to hear about you losing your job. I hope you can find something new without too much trouble.

During bouts of unemployment, I always tell people I'm on vacation. It seemed to make things better.

Good luck!

I just want to thank you all for your messages of support. Call me irrational if you want; it makes me *feel* better to know people care. I love you all. The last time I lost my job, I was devastated. This time, I'm just optimistic. I *will* find something that I like, dammit.

Good luck, Seebs. As it happens I lost my job today too. I wasn't happy there anyway, though, so it may be a positive thing that I now have to find a new one. Wish me luck.

I hope your search goes as well as mine is; I have one good possible lead already, and I still have a couple months to go before I should really start searching (for weird contractual reasons).

Don't you mean to say "not everyone who gets fired is a loser."?

Surely losers get fired too.
