spin seems confused regarding the difference between "childish" and "childlike."

I'm just waiting for the "I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you" line of reasoning.
We've already seen the "Liar liar pants on fire" defence in the last thread. |

I have found Spin's assertion that (it is his view that) taking the life of any sentient being is wrong. Has he/she ever done anything beyond simply restating this to try to make a case for this view? If so, can someone tell me what was offered or refer me to the appropriate post.

No, unfortunately, spin has neglected to defend his view. He merely asserts it repeatedly and arrogantly dismisses opinions that he does not agree with. |

Spin, I'm done with you. If, at any time, you decide to present an actual case for your view, rather than asserting it over and over until our ears bleed, then, trust me, I'll be the first in line to discuss it with you. Until such time, have fun talking to yourself. |

Pompous Bastard,
To be fair, Spin does more than that. He not only dismissed any opinions that contradict his own, but (and here's the real value add) he personally takes a moment to individually insult the person who stated the opinion for each and every such opinion. It's hard to get that kind of personal attention these days. While most people would probably just issue blanket statements of insults, Spin appears to truly take pride in his insults and to tailor each one to the context of the thread. Jeff |

sarpippany or is it parsippany is trying to make an artificial difference. Keep trying. Pedantry is better than nothing.
