Default Is your pleasure reading mostly fiction or nonfiction?

Some people think I'm strange for reading nonfiction for pleasure (particularly modern physics), so I thought I'd post this poll to see just how strange I am.

Well, if you're strange, then I'm strange.

I'd say about 50/50 overall, although now that I think about it, the last several books I've read have been nonfiction.

And hey, there's nothing wrong with being weird...

Pretty much 50/50, however i'm currently reading the Discworld series so it's been mostly fiction.
I did take a break from DW to read a physics book though.

I generally have something "literary", not necessarily fiction, on the go, and drag home a bunch of non-fiction from the library each week - something related to my obsessions, something from a display that seems interesting, something in the 'other people's trades' category, a cookbook, etc.

I read a lot of books about traveling and backpacking, so that tilts the scales, but for relaxing and every night before I go to bed, I just need a good fiction book. Usually, I'm in the middle of at least 2 books and one magazine at once. I'm pretty anal, so this is tough for me, not to do one at a time, but I also really like the variety. I read the magazine at breakfast, the non-fiction instructional type whenever I can and the fiction before sleeping!

It's mostly nonfiction, in particular history or biographies.

I mostly read fiction, but I have been known to read nonfiction for pleasure too.

ABout 50 50. Right now I'm reading a lot of magical realism, but also a lot of German modern history stuff.

You think you're weird for reading non-fiction for pleasure? Well, I'm in highschool, and reading for pleasure is very rare to find. Some people only read the books required for school(some people just read the blurb on the back, and the last chapter to see how it ends).

I like lots of nonfiction; military, chemistry, physics, astronomy, skepticism, and history.

I also like some fiction, mostly battletech or military stuff, but I don't read much fiction.

My chem teacher told me to stop reading in class, until they find out I'm reading a university text book on Analytical Chemistry!
