I can't say I'm terribly surprised by any of this. But I'm suspicious of any argument supported strictly by guilt by association. (Actually, there was no argument. Just statements of associations). I'd need to see some more solid evidence that Bush Jr. or Sr was knowingly helping bin Laden to believe it. "Knowingly" was not mentioned in the article, though.

I do believe the Bush team may not have been bright enough to know something they should have known. I wonder how culpable this makes them.

For the billion dollar contract, there will be several of these, and will be awarded to a number of companies. While associations between Bush, Cheney, etc., should be investigated, that association does not in itself mean there's something illegal or unethical happening, although it sure doesn't help public perception of the matter.
