libertydude, from what you said, it sounds like he's boned up on his apologetics from books like Chuck Colson's "How Now Shall We Live", as well as Josh McDowell and Lee Stroebel stuff. Most of the fundies that have any extra time are being encouraged by one another to do this so they can play Crusader and protect the world against worldliness and the armies of darkness .
It may help to spend time studying any arguments or essays that specifically refute the apologetics espoused by these guys. It's all the same re-hashed nonsense anyway, so once you've learned how to refute those arguments, you've pretty much got the answers. sorry about all the cussing earlier. The guy I yelled at on instant messenger last night was quiet tonight during hall meeting when we were singing about passover. I had a good time singing
