The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) has gotten some minimal mainstream media coverage. Although, a lot of it has probably been overshadowed by the WAR IN IRAQ (tm) news.
I know that Frontline did a very informative piece about the road to war with Iraq and PNAC, but few people watch PBS. And I remember hearing that it was briefly mentioned by Ted Koppel on Nightline. Also, there's a TIME magazine article that covers Wolfowitz and I'm sure mentions PNAC (I haven't finished reading it yet). I wonder if this story will ever fully "break" in the mainstream press. Has there been any sentiments of support for the PNAC agenda by either Republican politicians or conservative media types (Hannity, Savage, Limbaugh, Coulter, et al.)? Have any of the more right-leaning posters here expressed support for the PNAC agenda? And if this story ever does hit the front pages, what do you think will be the affect on the American public? |

I think the story "broke" but the public dosen't care. A google news search brings up quite a few news articles on it.
While I certainly don't agree with the PNAC platform I don't see it as a grand conspiracy. It gives me yet another reason not to vote for Bush in '04 |

I do see it was the authors and supports of PNAC have gained significant positions of power in the Bush White House and are influencing foreign policy accordingly. Not so much a conspiracy, in the "looney fringe theory" vein, but simply the actions of a few ideologues with the power to realize their agenda. |
